Early Intervention Training

Early Intervention Training supports families and professional care providers as they help children with disabilities develop to their greatest potential. The program reaches 8,000 providers across Illinois each year. Through the EI Training Web site, UCP provides links to videos for online viewing, sends frequent updates on available training and handles and average of 100,000 requests monthly. Focusing on social interaction, exploration and independence, EI provides parents with tools and guidance to make child development part of family routines.
